Specialized Programs at Discovery Addiction Centers

Veterans Program

Sadly, those who serve often suffer the most. Veterans often live with severe trauma. Our veterans program features individualized programs addressing PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

We make use of proven forms of talk therapy, like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help people safely explore the roots of their trauma, change their mindset, and live a life where they’re in charge, not their symptoms.

Offered at:

First Responders

Like veterans, first responders are often exposed to trauma. Whether it’s witnessing the aftermath of fires, shootings, and other events, or having their lives in danger, first responders are often at a higher risk of substance use than others.

Each individual gets personalized treatment during their stay. Meetings with our trained staff are done on a one-on-one basis as well as in small group settings. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), music therapy and family therapy are just a sampling of the services provided at the ranch.

Offered at:

Family Programming

When one family member is struggling with a substance use disorder, it affects the entire family unit. Whether it is a parent, an aunt, a child or a sibling, substance use disorder of one individual can wreak havoc on everyone’s life. Discovery Addiction Centers believes that substance use disorder is a family disease.

As a result, the family should be involved in the recovery process every step of the way. The best hope for a family member who is in recovery is to actively participate within their support system in the treatment process, starting from day one.

Offered at:

Young Adult Program

Our young adult programs are thoughtfully designed for individuals who are navigating the early stages of adulthood and may need extra support as they build confidence, discover their identity, and define what independence truly means.

Patients also benefit from being surrounded by peers who are experiencing similar transitions and challenges, creating a sense of camaraderie and mutual understanding.

Offered at:

Executives

Nurses, doctors, dentists, corporate executives, and attorneys are some of the many thousands of professionals referred to us by employee assistance programs. We help them successfully return to their careers and rediscover a stable, satisfying home life.

This program was designed with the whole person in mind. It is administered by a highly qualified and committed team of expert affiliated physicians, certified counselors, and therapists.

Offered at:

Pain Recovery Program

Few things rob people of life more than chronic pain. However, many of the medications used to treat chronic pain are also addictive.

Chronic pain conditions require a multifaceted approach to treatment. Our pain recovery program addresses the bio-psycho-social factors that contribute to chronic pain. We teach patients physical, mental, and behavioral techniques that assist them in living life fully and achieving pain relief and management without reliance on addictive medications.

We utilize traditional and non-traditional pain recovery solutions and approaches to address the patient’s concerns. Our goal is to help the patient achieve relief from pain and continue to build long-term pain and addiction recovery.

Offered at:

Teen Program

Our intensive program offers effective guidance for children aged 13 to 17 and is tailored specifically for teens.

We go even further than just treating your child; we treat your family as well. During your teen addiction treatment, you and your family receive education, treatment and guidance. Our program will help you remain healthy and focused while dealing with your teen’s drug and alcohol rehab.
